BRÜCKEREI #3

For its third edition, the choreographic development platform brought together 3 choreographers and 29 dancers with various dance experience and skills (professional and non-professionals). BRÜCKEREI #3 focused exclusively on improvisation as a mode of creation and performance. Under the mentorship of internationally acclaimed Swiss choreographer Thomas Hauert, participants explored improvisation as a tool for generating movement material, composing in real time and developing collaborative approaches to authorship. The programme concluded with a fully attended informal public sharing, offering audiences insight into the research developed during the platform and creating a direct connection between the artistic process and the wider public.
