B #1

BRÜCKEREI #1

18-30 July 2022, Tanzhaus Zürich

For its first ever edition, BRÜCKEREI brought together 3 choreographers and 33 dancers with various dance experience and skills (professional and non-professionals). As an artistic research guideline, the mentor of the choreographic development platform Alain Platel invited the eclectic group of participants to creatively respond to Stravinsky’s music Le Sacre du Printemps; a daunting challenge for any creator but also a rite of passage in the dance field. The outcomes of the choreographic research were presented to an audience on Saturdays 23+30 July 2022 at Tanzhaus Zürich.
